perspective on the parenting experience. Here are tips on dad blogging,
from deciding what topics are off limits to promoting your dad blog to
profiles of prominent dad bloggers.
Well then pull up a stool, there’s plenty of room at the bar! I’ll get this round and let’s have a little chat. First, let me congratulate you on choosing one of the few blogging frontiers that’s still relatively uncharted. Sure, there are a few well-known dad bloggers out there, but as far as sheer numbers go, ours is still an intimate little group. I may be talking out my ass (but then again, isn’t that what blogging is all about?), but I’ll bet for every one of us, there’s probably 10 or so moms doing the blogging thing. What does this mean? A lot more opportunity.
Becoming a dad blogger could not have come at a more appropriate time. I'm kicking off my Canadian dad blog on Father's Day, which just happens to be today! Hooray!
We’re pretty lucky to be the first generation of dads to enjoy the internet. It makes my topic so much more interesting to cover. I can’t imagine what the world of dad blogging would be like if our dads had set the precedent. Would the posts on our Google Readers look something like this?
